If you are traveling to New York City for treatment from another state or country, Centre Dental is experienced in accommodating your schedule and providing as much treatment as possible in a single visit. Our CBCT, Cerec, 3D printers will allow us to complete most treatments in a single day. For more complex treatment plans, we will try to minimize the number of visits required.
Invisalign
Invisalign is one of our specialty services. Dr. Shi was on doctor’s panel to help evaluate new features of Invisalign. He has many years of orthodontic training. If you are a long-distance patient, he will provide virtual care and customize a treatment plan based on 2-3 visits.
Dental Crowns & Veneers Dental Bridges
If you need a root canal, crown, veneer, or bridge, we offer same-day services using the Cerec system. While you wait, the AI-designed, precise, natural-looking ceramic crown can be created. You can even work with Dr. Shi to design your crown just the way you want it.
Dental implants can be completed in two visits
If you give us a few hours to take the CBCT x-rays, scan your teeth, and make an AI-designed surgical guide, the implants can be placed the same day (if the bone conditions allow.) 6 months later, you return to complete the abutments and crowns.
All-On-X Full Arch Implant Bridge
If most teeth are missing or failing, a full arch restoration supported by 4-8 implants makes a lot of sense. This treatment option is called All-on-X (AOX) or All-on-4 (AO4). It is especially suitable for long-distance patients because all surgery as well as a fixed temporary teeth can be done in one day. If we plan well, AOX treatment may take as little as 3 visits to complete as follows:
1) Visit 0 (Virtual appointment)
If you provide your previous X rays, we will offer a free virtual consultation to make sure you are a candidate for AOX.
2) Visit 1
Once confirmed your eligibility for AOX, your first appointment involves new X Rays, CBCT, Teeth scans, treatment plan, financials and consents to treatment. We will then order surgical guides, and all parts involved with AOX treatment.
3) Visit 2
Visit 2 can be combined with visit 1 if you can stay in New York for a week or so. During visit 2, we will remove all failing teeth, clean and disinfect surgical sites, place 4-8 implants depending on bone quality. MUA abutments are connected to all stable implants, and they are scanned by grammetry or photogrammetry. The data will be used to design the temporary AOX. A 3D printed AOX temporary is then connected to implant abutments. Before you go home, we will also provide a 3D printed night guard.
4) Visit 3
After about 6 months of healing, you will return for making final bridge. We will check all implants for stability, adjust or modify the temporary bridge. Once satisfied, we will rescan the abutments, and data sent to lab for AOX zirconia fixed bridge. It may take 2 weeks to make a final AOX.
5) Visit 4
You can combine with visit 3 if you can stay in New York for 2 weeks. During this visit, we will deliver the final implant bridge, and make a new night guard. If you maintain AOX properly, it will last a life time.
