Solea vaporizes decayed tooth structure and soft tissue at a very high frequency, up to 10,000 pulses per second, which is believed to overwhelm pain receptors, preventing pain signals from ever reaching the brain. Solea makes cavity prep more conservative: removing only the damaged tooth structure. It can also sterilize undamaged tooth structure, and stimulate the pulpal tissue to regenerate healthier tooth structures.
